Front Man Leo Nash from the world-famous rock band, Nash, is the last person on earth Samantha Williams would trust. She's already learned about loving a celebrity the hard way and isn't signing up for another lesson.
Every time Sam gives Leo attitude, he wants to knock that chip off her fragile little shoulder. What the hell did he ever do to her, anyway? He's not used to women treating him like he's poisonous, and he isn't about to let her run away every time he gets close. He's had enough of people running away to last him a lifetime...when this one runs, he gives chase. But, catching Sam isn't as hard as he thought.
The sexual attraction between them is so thick, Sam can practically hold it in her hand. There's no way she can deny herself the promise of pleasure being with Leo would provide. But, pleasure always comes with pain and when secrets are revealed and trust is challenged, who will run and who will chase?

Review:
I'm a pretty big Kristen Proby/ With Me in Seattle fan, I mean it's not that I read the first three books or anything... I totally did, by the way. There's something so sweet about her books, they're the feel-good type of reads that you turn to when you need something to boost your mood up. You can choose to start with whichever of the books you want because they're not all completely related, but they are connected though. The characters are all either friends/relatives.
Rock with Me comes after Play with Me which is Meg and Will's story, if you've read Play with Me then you'd be familiar with Leo. Leo is Meg's soul brother, he was the one who took care of her when no one was around for her, so he plays the protective big brother well. And he's also this really big rock star, he's the lead singer of Nash; which is his last name and his band. This is Sam and Leo's story...
If you've read the previous books, you'll remember that Sam is a pretty closed-off character. She's always had a hard time opening up to others and welcoming them, but not without reason. Her backstory is actually pretty sad and you'll understand why she became the person she is now. She really has a strong sense of filial piety which is one of her strong points, but one of her weak points is that she can sometimes be a super b*tch and ends up pushing those who care for her away. It's good to finally see a different side of her.
I have to say that I admire Leo's persistence. While Sam may have been trying to pull back from him, he was trying to pull her towards him. You can see how much he already cared for her and that he didn't even need Sam's "yes" to push forward. And I have to say, Leo is a really, really sweet guy. He's also very complex and the things he's been through to survive will really shock you. He's actually a very deep character and like Sam, all he needed was a little nudge in the right direction... or the right person.
Rock with Me is a book definitely about trust. You have two people just trying to find the right path and finding each other along the way. I loved the ending too! It wasn't too much, it was absolutely perfect for the mood of the book. Rock with Me is a great installment to the With Me in Seattle series and I can't wait to read more!
