The new Abby Abernathy is a good girl. She doesn’t drink or swear, and she has the appropriate number of cardigans in her wardrobe. Abby believes she has enough distance from the darkness of her past, but when she arrives at college with her best friend, her path to a new beginning is quickly challenged by Eastern University's Walking One-Night Stand.
Travis Maddox, lean, cut, and covered in tattoos, is exactly what Abby needs—and wants—to avoid. He spends his nights winning money in a floating fight ring, and his days as the ultimate college campus charmer. Intrigued by Abby’s resistance to his appeal, Travis tricks her into his daily life with a simple bet. If he loses, he must remain abstinent for a month. If Abby loses, she must live in Travis’s apartment for the same amount of time. Either way, Travis has no idea that he has met his match.

Review:
I absolutely loved Beautiful Disaster! It's easily one the best books I've read this year. I haven't read a book this refreshing and crazy in a really long time. There's just something so unique and appealing about Pige-- I mean, Abby and Travis's love story. It was sweet, slow and absolutely wild. There is not a minute in this book where you will not laugh out loud (or even cry) because Beautiful Disaster is pretty much filled with so much emotion and it will really pull at your heartstrings until all you are reduced to is a sobbing mess or a laughing maniac.
There's this sense of excitement in Beautiful Disaster that you just can't find anywhere else. You have such daring and wild characters that you can't help but love. I literally just wished that they'd all just pop out of the book and hang out with me and partaaaaaaaaay!
I really liked the way the romance of this book built. It was slow, frustrating and sexual tension-filled. It's the type of build up where you have this urge to just jump in the book and give the characters a smack and tell them to just hook up already! Jamie McGuire really knows how to leave a person begging for more.
Abby and Travis' relationship is easily the most entertaining and frustrating relationship I have read about. Both of them know that they have this intense connection but the million-dollar question is, who will crack first? Will it be Abby, the girl who knows that she needs to stay away from the hot tattooed playboy? Or will it be Travis, the said hot tattooed playboy who has only ever known a hedonistic life? Travis and Abby's story will literally just drive you insane and keep you wanting for more and more.
I cannot express how much I insanely love this book and I seriously want you all to be able to read this (scroll down later for more details.) Beautiful Disaster is pretty much like an addicting drug, you try to tell yourself to stop but you know that it just won't work. And trust me, you won't want to stop. All you can really do is ask for more and waiting till next year for Walking Disaster, which I am dying to read. I cannot wait to read Travis' POV! I recommend this book to everyone. You will love this book to bits and if you don't, I'll let you pluck one of my penguin feathers.

In Walking Disaster, the life of Travis is full of fast women, underground gambling, and violence. Just when he thought he was invincible, Abby Abernathy brings him to his knees.
Every story has two sides. In Jamie McGuire's New York Times bestseller Beautiful Disaster Abby had her say. Now it's time to see the story through Travis's eyes.
