Life outside of her house was a new experience for Della Sloane. The dark secrets of her past weren’t something she ever intended to share with anyone. They would never understand. No one would ever get close enough to find out. Besides there was always a chance she’d go crazy sooner than they expected…
Woods Kerrington had never been one to be attracted to fragile females. They seemed like too much work. He wasn’t in it for the work just the pleasure. A night full of naughty fun had been exactly what was on his mind when he’d laid eyes on the hot little number that didn’t know how to pump gas and needed some help.
What he didn’t know was she was as fragile as they came.
The carefree girl who spoke her mind and didn’t care what the world thought of her was more breakable than he could ever imagine…

Review:
It's a well-known fact that I am in love with Abbi Glines and her books. I mean, seriously, who wouldn't be? They're sweet, steamy and addictive. And Twisted Perfection is not an exception. The story revolves around two lost souls trying to look for the freedom that was taken away from them. I cried, I laughed and I swooned reading this book and I am 100% positive that you will too.
I felt that Twisted Perfection had more substance than Fallen Too Far did, it was definitely a great first book to kick off a series. The characters in Twisted Perfection were more complex and had a lot more going on than the previous characters did. Don't get me wrong though, I love Blaire and Rush's story, it was heartbreaking and bittersweet but Della, even just by herself, already managed to make me crazed for her and Woods.
I was definitely shocked with the way Twisted Perfection started (trust me, Abbi Glines does not beat around the bush.) And I can't say with absolute certainty that the Perfect series is for a more mature audience. This book managed to make me have a full-body flush right from the second chapter, just whoa. I loved that Abbi Glines wasn't afraid to start the book that way, and not without reason either. You basically get the history between Della and Woods on how they first met (and what a first meeting it was. *swoon*)
When you first meet Della, you'd immediately assume that she's a fragile damsel-in-distress because she's bent over her car trying to figure out how to pump gas in it, but that first impression is completely untrue. There are a myriad of reasons as to why Della seems a bit clueless to the world (most likely because her mom was a psycho and wouldn't let her leave the house, but I'm just throwing out ideas here) but that doesn't mean she's a dame in need of delicate care in anyway. Sure, she may be fragile but that doesn't actually mean that she can't take care of herself. Because as you read on, you'll realize what a strong person Della really is. Even though life's thrown her a bunch of shit, she still stood firm and stared fate down. She took control of her life because she didn't want her past dictating who she was and what she was going to be. There are so many unknowns in her life but even with all that, she still didn't go back to her town and give up. No. She looked straight ahead and just went on. So even though Della might seem fragile, she's really not. Her fragility is her strength because it's what made her into such a great and inspiring person. Her pain isn't really something most people can relate to but it's so tangible that you will feel it as well. You will understand this fragile, strong and complex girl, and you will love and cheer for her.
I honestly didn't know Woods was such an intense person, because when you read about him in the Too Far books, he seems so cool and unaffected but in Twisted Perfection, he's actually a volcano eruption waiting to happen. Woods wasn't just arm candy in this book, he actually had his own story (yay!) Even though most people wouldn't want to be pitied, I did pity him. While Della may have a super messed up past, Woods has a super messed up past, present and possible future. The Vice President position for his family's country club was always meant to be his... until it wasn't. His grandfather didn't write Woods up in his will for it, and that seriously pissed me off. The fact that his grandfather, who he was really close with, actually gave Woods father leverage to manipulate Woods's life was just really sad. Woods was pretty much his father's marionette in this book because he was trying to prove to his father that he deserved the position that was rightfully his in the first place. Not only was he being forced to do crappy jobs for his father, he was also being forced to marry a vindictive little bitch. The only reprieve Woods had from his jacked up life was his friends and Della. Della who he thought that he'd never see again, but did. That's what you call serendipity.
The collision that happened between Della and Woods was the catalyst for so many drastic changes in their lives. It affected them both positively and negatively. No one was left unscathed, everyone was affected and was involved. There will literally be moments where you will want to shout "YES" and do a little happy dance but there will also be moments where you will want to sit in a dark corner and rock back and forth. This book will tangle up your emotions until you're left with so many mixed feelings and a crazy obsession for this series.
This is weave of interconnecting stories and lives will not only wrench your heart, but it will also soothe and calm the ache afterwards. Abbi Glines creates characters will not only love but also cherish. Every line, page and chapter you will read will imprint itself into your mind because that's what all great books do, stick with you indefinitely. And Twisted Perfection is without a doubt, a great great book. You may think that the ending of Fallen Too Far was shocking, wait till you finish this book. BOOM.
